This ACCUCOLD power-failure line cord has a built-in power failure sensor with an 80dB loud audible alarm. It is intended for monitoring essential 120-volt AC-powered cord-connected appliances for power failure events, accidental cord disconnection, and circuit breaker failure. The loud signal sounds for up to 90 minutes, advising the user to reconnect power to the device. Perfect for Monitoring Refrigerators, Freezers, Sump Pumps, and Aquariums.

Installation: Plug the cord into any live 120-volt AC outlet. Attach the female connector to the plug of the appliance to be monitored. Please Note: If the appliance plug is disconnected from the cord, the alarm will not sound. It will sound only if power fails to reach the cord.
Testing and Operation: After the cord has been plugged into an AC outlet for 24 hours to obtain a full charge, simply disconnect the cord from the AC outlet. The alarm should sound. Make certain that the switch is in the “alarm on” position.
