Custom Cooktop Trim Kit: We can build any size Cooktop Trim. Simply tell us the overall size of your cutout and how large you want your trim kit to be, and we will custom-build a collar that allows you to install your cooktop without the added expense of modifying or re-tiling your existing counter. Our custom trim kits can be built to be compatible with any cooktop brand, including all our Summit Cooktops. Our Cooktop Trim Kits are used when installing almost any desired cooktop into an oversized, existing countertop opening.
How to Measure? You will measure and provide us with these 4 measurements. A. Cutout Width, B. Cutout Depth, C. Exterior Width, D. Exterior Depth. For A and B Cutout Dimensions: These measurements are the manufacturer-provided cutout dimensions of your new cooktop, typically found in the user manual. For C and D Exterior Dimension: This is the measurement of the exterior size of the trim kit. To account for the overhang of the trim kit, add at least 2” (1” each side) to your current countertop opening. For example, if your current countertop opening is 15” X 20” Inches you may add 1” Inch on both sides and order 17” X 22” Inches or larger for better support.

Quality: Made from 304-grade seamless brushed stainless steel, our custom trim kits let you install any cooktop in an oversized counter cutout. Our stainless trim kit is crafted from large flat panels of material that are then custom cut specifically to cover the oversized existing cutout in the countertop. The interior opening of the trim ring is made to match the cutout requirements for the new replacement cooktop for the best fit. These trim kits provide an attractively styled, easily installed, and clean product.
